RKS is not a Kolej Kediaman. RKS bukan Kolej Kediaman. RKS 不是 Kolej Kediaman。
It is six houses. Ordinary houses in a residential street in Seksyen 16, Petaling Jaya, each with its own bedrooms, kitchen and living room. You live with the other residents, you cook for yourself, and you look after the house together. There is no warden, no cafeteria, no block number. Ia enam buah rumah. Rumah biasa di kawasan perumahan Seksyen 16, Petaling Jaya, setiap satu dengan bilik tidur, dapur dan ruang tamu sendiri. Anda tinggal bersama penghuni lain, memasak sendiri, dan menjaga rumah bersama-sama. Tiada warden, tiada kafeteria, tiada nombor blok. 它是六间房子。位于 Seksyen 16, Petaling Jaya 住宅区的普通房子，每间都有自己的卧室、厨房和客厅。你和其他住户一起生活，自己做饭，一起维护房子。没有舍监，没有食堂，没有楼座编号。
Universiti Malaya provides the houses through HEP Penginapan, for students who did not get a place in Kolej Kediaman. Universiti Malaya menyediakan rumah ini melalui HEP Penginapan, untuk pelajar yang tidak mendapat penempatan di Kolej Kediaman. Universiti Malaya 通过 HEP Penginapan 提供这些房子，给没有分配到 Kolej Kediaman 的学生。
Two bodies run it, and they do different things. JKRKS, the Rumah Kediaman Siswa committee, a secretariat under Kesatuan Mahasiswa Universiti Malaya (KMUM), selects residents, handles welfare, runs check-in and check-out, and monitors the condition of the houses. HEP Penginapan handles the money and the maintenance contractors. Dua pihak menguruskannya, dan tugas mereka berbeza. JKRKS, Jawatankuasa Rumah Kediaman Siswa, sebuah sekretariat di bawah Kesatuan Mahasiswa Universiti Malaya (KMUM), memilih penghuni, menguruskan kebajikan, daftar masuk dan keluar, serta memantau keadaan rumah. Every house has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, one kitchen and one living room. One bedroom holds 2 people. The other three hold 4 each. RKS 5 has 13 beds because one room is closed. Setiap rumah mempunyai 4 bilik tidur, 3 bilik air, 1 dapur dan 1 ruang tamu. Satu bilik memuatkan 2 orang. Tiga bilik lagi memuatkan 4 orang setiap satu. RKS 5 mempunyai 13 katil kerana satu bilik ditutup. 每间房子有 4 间卧室、3 间浴室、1 个厨房和 1 个客厅。一间卧室住 2 人，其余三间各住 4 人。RKS 5 有 13 张床，因为其中一间房已关闭。
